Miss Hannah- Gym Director and AAU Team Coach

Hannah joined CORE in August, 2018, before we even opened our doors. She was a gymnast as a child, then used her friendly smile and positive attitude to work in the service industry for a few years before finding her home here at CORE. Hannah started as a part-time gymnastics instructor and quickly grew into a leadership role, both in teaching classes and tackling the administrative side of the gym, and is now CORE's Gym Director. She is also the co-founder of our fantastic AAU team, which she and Taylor started in 2021, and has been an integral part of every one of CORE’s “firsts.” Hannah has helped the owner create CORE’s vision, CORE’s curriculum and CORE’s positive environment, and is at the center of our rapid and continued growth.

Miss Taylor, "TWT"- AAU Team Coach and Recreational Instructor

Taylor joined the CORE family in January, 2020, with a background in gymnastics both as a former gymnast from Lee County Gymnastics in Sanford, NC and as a gymnastics instructor. She graduated from Greensboro College in May, 2021 with a degree in Health Science. Taylor has helped CORE grow over the years, teaching recreational and tumbling classes, and she is the co-founder of CORE’s amazing AAU competitive team. She works full-time with Fidelity, but continues to work with CORE because she loves having gymnastics as part of her everyday life, and finds fulfillment in contributing to the lives of other people.

Miss Eleanor- Tumbling and AAU Team Coordinator

Eleanor joined CORE in Aug 2021. She did gymnastics for 15 years- starting with Artistic gymnastics before switching to Trampoline and Tumbling and competing through level 10. She has been coaching gymnastics since she was 16 and loves working with kids of all ages. Eleanor graduated from UNCG in May, 2023 with a degree in Women and Gender Studies and a minor in History. She works with us full-time helping us grow our AAU team and Tumbling Plus classes. She has 3 cats and loves to read and explore outside in her free time.

Miss Taylor, "TM"- Tumbling and Recreational Gymnastics Instructor

Taylor joined CORE in Feb, 2022 with a tumbling and cheering background of over 10 years. She is currently a junior at UNCG, majoring in Interior Architecture. Taylor recently got offered a job from her internship at Marta Mitchell and will also continue to work with us teaching recreational gymnastics and tumbling classes. A few of her favorite things include her dog Pickle, spending time with friends and family, and Chinese food!

Miss Heather- Assistant Program Director and Preteam/USAG Compulsory Team Coach

Heather joined us in January, 2023. Originally from Eugene, OR, she began gymnastics at the age of 3 and competed for the United States Gymnastics Academy from ages 7 to 18. She started coaching at USGA when she was 14, and then worked at Gymnastics Northwest during college, initially starting as a recreational coach, but later becoming the Head of Preschool Gymnastics and working with a wide range of skill levels, including team. Heather graduated from the University of Oregon with a Psychology degree before moving to Greensboro. She works with us full-time leading our preteam and lower compulsory levels and helping us grow our future USAG  competitive program. Her favorite part of being a coach is watching kids gain confidence in themselves and their abilities. In her spare time, she likes to read and spend time with her cat, Cersie.

Miss Violet- Preschool and Recreational Gymnastics Instructor

Violet is currently studying Music Education at the UNCG. Upon graduation, she hopes to become a public school music teacher and teach within the Greensboro area. Violet has a background in coaching recreational gymnastics as well as competitive gymnastics and all star cheerleading and has even competed in all-star cheerleading for 7 years. Outside of teaching gymnastics, Violet serves as a current private music teacher and her other hobbies consist of reading, hiking, crocheting, and being an avid coffee enjoyer. Violet is incredibly passionate about coaching/teaching and one of her favorite things about being a coach is seeing the progress and growth from all of her students and getting to share the thing that she loves the most with others.
